2023 Community Picnic and Softball Challenge

This year’s annual Community Picnic and Softball Challenge was in many respects a home run: Hundreds of community members were treated to Mother Nature’s great weather, an exciting softball tournament, plenty of hot dogs, hamburgers and healthy salads, fun games, crafts, raffles and the much anticipated backpack and school supplies giveaway — all free of charge.

Of course, Lunch Break NJ is grateful for all those who helped sponsor this year’s event, among them stillwell-hansen.com, lidochem.com, oceanfirst.com, cornermarketing.com. Such generosity provided hours of joy for so many of our families. And if you happened to stop by, you would have noticed the many excited schoolchildren happily toting their brand new backpacks.

The day’s events would not have been a success if it weren’t for our donors, vendors and volunteers, all of whom contributed to yet another home run! Thank you. See you you next year!
