Our college-bound Alliance For Success (AFS) participants were excited to tour Montclair State University and Kean University. The students were equally impressed with each campus, noting both the beauty of the buildings and grounds, as well as the curriculums offered. We’re sure it will be a difficult decision, with so many impressive colleges and universities in New Jersey alone. That’s among the main reasons why Lunch Break established this successful mentoring program for high school juniors and seniors several years ago in partnership with The Source at Red Bank Regional. Our students face many difficult choices and we’re here to provide information, guidance and experiences to help them make informed decisions. With more than 100 students enrolled annually, the program offers spring and fall mentoring sessions and workshops led by community leaders and business partners. Additionally, one-to-one mentoring is available for those seeking career and/or college prep guidance. If you’d like to enroll in the AFS program, please contact Life Skills Supervisor Eleanor Schoenberger at email@example.com, (732) 747-8577, Ext. 3201.
