Artist Open Hearts For Lunch Break Running Now

Lunch Break will host its second annual online Artists Open Hearts for Lunch Break fundraiser, with the virtual art auction running now through May 9th, 2021.

Last year, we raised over $25,000 through the generosity of our talented artist community. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Lunch Break, providing food security for so many of our neighbors who are struggling with financial burdens.

Art showings and bidding will continue to be open through 6 p.m. Sunday (5/9), as art donated to the auction can still be viewed online here.

She always was fascinated with human behavior, existence, and her perspective of the world; difficult to put into words, Daisy drew them into form instead. Constantly told she should draw more conventionally “pretty” subjects like classical landscapes and portraits, Daisy went against the norms the art world tried to imprint upon her. Since then, she approaches beauty in unconventional manners, representing it through surreal and imaginative landscapes, figures and faces.
