Artists Open Hearts for Lunch Break
Online Art Auction
April 30th-May 9th, 2021

Lunch Break will host its second annual online Artists Open Hearts for Lunch Break fundraiser April 30th-May 9th, 2021. The fundraiser helps to provide food security for so many of our neighbors who are struggling with financial burdens. Last year we raised more than $25,000 through the generosity of our talented arts community.

“Tibet Girl,” photo by Alison Wright, award-winning documentary photographer, is her most iconic image. It has been published in National Geographic, as well as featured on the book cover “Celebrating 125 Years of National Geographic,” selected from every photo ever taken for the magazine.

Alison has traveled to all regions of the globe photographing traditional cultures and people while covering issues concerning the human condition. She is a recipient of the Dorothea Lange Award in Documentary Photography, a two-time winner of the Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Award, and was recently named a National Geographic Traveler of the Year as “someone who travels with a sense of passion and purpose.”

She has published 10 books including her latest, “Human Tribe,” a series of global portraits celebrating the diverse visual tapestry of humanity. Alison has been published in numerous magazines including National Geographic, National Geographic Traveler, National Geographic Adventure, Outside, Islands and Smithsonian.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit Lunch Break. This fundraiser will help provide food security for so many of our neighbors who are struggling with financial burdens.
