Client Choice Pantry

Opportunity for clients to shop for perishable and non-perishable items needed for themselves and their family members. Clients are given a choice of 2 assigned days out of the month to pick up their monthly food packages from our food pantry according to the first letter of their last name.

Monday: A-D/ W-Z: 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. (Last sign-up is 2:45 p.m.)
Tuesday: E-I/ O-R: 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. (Last sign-up is 2: 45 p.m.)
Wednesday: J- N/ S- V: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (Last sign-up is 5:45 p.m.)
Thursday: O-R/ E- I: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Last sign-up is 2:45 p.m.)
Friday: S-V/ J-N: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Last sign-up is 2:45 p.m.)
Saturday: W-Z/ A-D: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Last sign-up is 11:45 a.m.)

There is no food distribution on Sundays

Example: If your last name begins with A, you can choose to pick up on any Monday or Saturday during the month. If by any chance you miss your assigned day you will be given the opportunity to pick up on a Wednesday between the hours of 3:00- 5:45 p.m. by appointment only. To schedule an appointment you must contact Taylor Oliveras @ 732.747.8577, ext. 3013. Please bring your own bags.

Becoming a Lunch Break Client Choice (Pantry) Client:

For first time or pending renewal clients the following documentation is required:

  1. Picture ID:
    • Drivers License, Non Drivers ID, Voter ID Card
    • Passport/Resident Alien Card/Green Card
    • County or Student ID
    • Other
  2.  Proof of Family Size:
    •  Notarized letter listing all members in household
    • Current Public Assistance Budget printout
    • Child’s Health Insurance card/current Immunization or Medical Record
    • Child’s Current School Record
    • Custody Papers
    • Lease with family members listed
    • Birth Certificate/Adoption Papers
    • Other
  3. Proof of Address (current mail for ALL ADULTS):
    • House Bills: gas, electric, cable, mortgage, medical or telephone
    • Lease/Rent Receipt
    • Referral from a Shelter
    • Voter Registration Card
    • Letter from Social Services/Medicare/Medicaid
    • Other
    • Income verification: Pay Stub, bank statement, notarized letter of employment from employer, social services award letter (TANF, SNAP,?General Assistance), unemployment award letter, or SSI/SSD (Supplemental Security Income/Social Security Disability) award letter 
** (If unemployed you may provide a notarized letter from head of housing stating living)
