Congratulations to our Executive Director, Gwendolyn O. Love

Congratulations to our very own Executive Director, Gwendolyn O. Love, who will receive the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County’s prestigious Martin Luther King Jr. Human Dignity Award. The award honors an individual who reflects Dr. King’s principles and ideals in philosophy and action and will be presented on Friday, January 15th at their annual Dr. King Celebration. The event which starts at 8 a.m. will be virtual.
“Gwen Love is the perfect candidate this year,” said event chairman and Y board member Michael Wright. “She is always fighting for equity, human rights, and dignity for all in a very compassionate and professional manner. She is progressive and traditional at the same time and has such a warm spirit. We could not be more thrilled to honor Gwen with the Y’s Human Dignity Award for 2021.”
We are so proud of Gwen and all that she has accomplished in her 13 years at Lunch Break. She has been and continues to be a bright beacon of hope in our community, leading us with determination, hope and love. Congratulations!
