Lunch Break COVID 19 EMERGENCY FUND

Hello!

At this time due to budget constraints, Lunch Break is temporarily suspending the Covid 19 Emergency Fund until further notice. Please check back with us in the near future for more up-to-date information regarding the program.

In the meantime, there are other resources listed below to assist you at this time.

In Need of Help?

Sen. Booker and his colleagues sent a letter to Senate leadership this week asking for critically-needed assistance for non-profit organizations. They also compiled a comprehensive guide of resources that may be helpful to people in New Jersey. Click here to learn more.

COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program (CVERAP) will provide temporary rental assistance to low- and moderate-income households that have been impacted due the COVID-19 pandemic. Open Enrollment Period for applications: Monday, July 6, 2020, at 9:00 through Friday, July 10, 2020, at 5:00 pm. Click here for more information.

Operation Gear-Up

Operation Gear UpWe will not miss meal! Please see our Hours of Operation. While in line for your meal or groceries, please maintain the required 6 feet of social distancing for everyone’s safety. Thank you!

On Wednesday, April 29th, we distributed 247 grab-and-go breakfast and lunch meals, including Red Bank Charter School students and 63 meals delivered to the home-bound. About 112 people received groceries, including 28 new faces to Lunch Break. We continue to help those who need us thanks to our volunteers and YOUR generous donations! We couldn’t do it without YOU!

Programs and Clara’s Closet clothing distribution are suspended at this time. We are currently only accepting donations of non-perishable food, personal hygiene products, face masks, and monetary contributions.
