Donate Today to Help our Elderly

New Jersey’s statewide Elder Economic Insecurity Rate (EEIR) is 52%; more than 5 in 10 retired senior-only households lack incomes that will insulate them against poverty as they age. While such insecurity affects elders of all backgrounds, New Jersey EEIRs vary greatly by household type, housing type, race, gender and location. New Jersey elders who live alone are much more likely than elder couples to live in insecurity. That’s why Lunch Break is here to help, thanks to our generous community of givers.

Please consider making a 40th birthday gift to Lunch Break on behalf of our insecure community members. Every donation counts toward helping our neighbors navigate financial setbacks, find temporary housing, receive credit/debt counseling, acquire new employment skills or a better job — all with the hope of building their own generational equity. We appreciate your commitment to our mission. Please donate today and share with your social network!
