More meals to go and more groceries to more families in May

On Friday we distributed 279 grab-and-go meals, including students from the Red Bank Charter School and 60 delivered to the home-bound. On Saturday, 402 meals were given out to our neighbors in need. In May, we distributed 8,286 meals, about 45 percent more than May 2019. Deliveries to the homebound community and Pan American motel are up from last year 100 percent and 75 percent respectively. About 116 people received groceries on Friday and 60 on Saturday.

Our monthly total: 2,320 grocery recipients, about 10% more day to day than April.
