Thank you to Dermer Dreams for collecting a total of 108,450 pounds of food for our families in need during September and November. The initial goal was 50,000 pounds – and organizers say they were astounded by the community’s generosity. Included in the Dermer Dreams Food Drive was the Fair Haven town-wide collection, which raised 38,329 pounds in November, as well as last month’s Neighborhood Captain Program throughout Monmouth County, which resulted in 70,121 pounds. The Neighborhood Captain Program recruits high school students to sponsor food drives in their hometown. Thank you to all!
