Thank you to Eve for Organizing a Food and Monetary Drive

Thank you to Red Bank Regional senior Eve Smallwood for organizing a food and monetary drive and collecting $3,000 and 175 pounds of food — totaling $9,000 — for our food- and financially-insecure neighbors.

This is Eve’s second drive for Lunch Break and in over two years, she has raised nearly 500 pounds of food!

During the height of the pandemic, this National Honor Society recipient and Congressional Award candidate, was determined to help those in her community who were struggling to survive. Undeterred by business shutdowns because of safety concerns, Eve found a way to rally neighbors and friends to raise $6,000 and more than 200 pounds of food! She truly is a Hunger Hero!
