The Life Skills team is in overdrive! They just helped sisters Marcdaline and Merline, 20 and 18 respectively, find reliable transportation to get to work and school. These lovely young ladies, abandoned by family, are determined not only to survive, but thrive. Marcdaline, mother of a 3-year-old son, works the overnight shift at Wendy’s; Merline, who attends Ocean Township High School, is a cashier at Foodtown. Thanks to Joe Wajda, Executive Manager of World Subaru, World Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram and Staten Island Buick GMC, the sisters now have a great car to speed them along their way to a brighter future, including pursuing careers in medicine and law. Best of luck, ladies!
