Volunteer Spotlight: Karen Turner

Karen Turner, a fairly new volunteer to Lunch Break, has somewhat of a history with our resource center. Karen became acquainted with us after losing her home during Hurricane Sandy. She received much needed assistance at this time in her life and because of YOUR generosity, Karen wanted to give back to the community which had helped her through such difficulty. And so goes another Lunch Break story — those we’ve assisted now are helping others get back on their feet.
