Community Playmaking is a collaborative program dedicated to the process of creating short plays by adult residents of Monmouth County. Open to adults 21 and older from diverse, underrepresented communities, this beginner-level program requires no prior experience—just a desire to learn and share stories. Participants will engage in a series of free playwriting workshops, enjoy dinners and performances, and ultimately see their own plays performed by professional actors in front of family, friends, and community members. Community Playmaking is a joint initiative between Two River Theater and Project Write Now designed to foster creativity and connection within our local community.
