At Lunch Break, we help our community members in need by providing them with more than just a meal.

General Items Donations | Hours of Operation

We are accepting donations of the following items:

  • Gift cards: grocery stores, department stores, credit card companies
  • Toiletries: toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, soap, shaving cream
  • Household items: toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, food storage bags, garbage bags, laundry supplies
  • Linens: towels, sheets, comforters
  • Baby Supplies: diapers, wipes, baby shampoo/soap, formula, baby food, diaper cream
  • Cleaning supplies: detergent, brooms, mops

We are NOT accepting donations of the following items:

  • Out of season clothing and shoes
  • Mattresses, box springs, bed pillows
  • Electronics, including TVs
  • Sporting goods
  • Appliances
  • Exercise equipment
  • Baby equipment: cribs, high chairs, strollers, car seats, pack n’ plays, walkers, baby gates, etc.
  • Used furniture*
  • Books*
  • Bulky kids toys: Little Tykes, activity tables, kitchens, etc.
  • VHS tapes and CDs
  • Typewriters
  • Used rugs
* We will accept certain items on a case-by-case basis. Please call our main number at (732) 747-8577 to inquire.

Donations accepted at:

Please bring donations to our main Lunch Break building located at 121 Drs. James Parker Blvd., Red Bank, NJ 07701. Please use the Norma Todd Way driveway entrance to the rear of our building and come to the donations door.

PLEASE NOTE: Our Lunch Break Family Promise Office is no longer a location for donation drop-off.

Essential Hygiene Items Needed

Help us provide essential hygiene items to those in need. Every donation counts towards restoring the dignity and well-being of our neighbors. It feels good to help others feel good.
