Please help us extend a warm welcome to the newest member of our team, our new Life Skills Manager, Birgit Mondesir.

Birgit has extensive experience working in our local non-profit community.  She brings a wealth of community ties and experience to her new role and we are very happy to have her join the Lunch Break family.

“I’m a longtime resident of Monmouth County where I’ve served in various aspects of social justice. As former Chair of the Monmouth County Human Relations Commission, former Board Member of Lunch Break and  current Board Member of The T. Thomas Fortune Cultural Center, I’ve witnessed first-hand, the road blocks that plague certain communities. This all paved a path to Brookdale Community College, where I was an Assistant Director in the Office of Admissions.

I’m now excited to be at Lunch Break in a new capacity, where I hope to utilize my academic and professional experiences to assist those who need it most.” –Birgit Mondesir
