Community Service
Lunch Break offers meaningful community service opportunities; bringing you closer to the issues of food insecurity, housing instability and social justice.
The task of Lunch Break to serve those in need in Monmouth County and beyond is an ever-increasing one. And because we never charge a fee for our services, we rely on your generosity more and more to help our neighbors in need to get back on their feet. Throughout Lunch Break’s decades of service to the community, we have provided help for today through feeding, clothing and social service programs, and hope for tomorrow through services such as our mentoring and Life Skills programs. We continue to see individuals and families struggle to make ends meet, but with your support, we can make a difference. There are so many ways you can help!

If you need to fulfill community service hours and cannot get on our calendar due to scheduling conflicts, please consider conducting drives on our behalf. We will gladly credit you with the hours you spend organizing a food drive.
