How to be a super-duper donator

Clara’s Closet will go on a clothing donation pause from January 25th to February 2nd to make space for the spring season. Spring attire will be accepted when donations reopen on February 3rd. PLEASE NOTE: We will still be accepting formal wear attire during this time.

Cleaned and lightly used seasonal clothing donations are accepted at our Red Bank location only. Donors will be asked to leave their name and phone information when donating. Anonymous and after-hours donations will not be accepted. No appointment is necessary for donating clothing! Thank you for always thinking of us.

Accepting Fall Donations

When packing up your donations, remember that the person lifting and unpacking your donation bag is more likely to look like...

Storing off-season clothing is a challenge. Please help us by donating seasonally.

We are accepting clean towels, linens, and bedding.

Lunch Break reserves the right to refuse items that we deem inappropriate.

  • Out of season clothing and shoes
  • Mattresses, box springs, bed pillows
  • Electronics, including TVs
  • Sporting goods
  • Appliances
  • Exercise equipment
  • Baby equipment: cribs, high chairs, strollers, car seats, pack n’ plays, walkers, baby gates, etc.
  • Bulky kids toys: Little Tykes, activity tables, kitchens, etc.
  • VHS tapes and CDs
  • Typewriters
  • Used rugs
  • Used furniture*
  • Books*

*We will accept certain items on a case-by-case basis.
